Previously I showed chasing the threads in the CBX cylinder head. I have to buy quality taps in bunches because the CBX head's aluminum alloy is very tough on cutting tools. A brand new, high quality tap is worn out after chasing the threads of 32 cam bearing holes. These are special order American made taps. A common hardware store foreign-made tap will not go the distance, in fact will not last even half the holes.
